Thought Algorithm

The mind has its own algorithm of thought. Imagine a stream on a fall day and as you watch the water flow by there are many leaves floating down the river. You observe how they fall and drift into the water. Your attention is drawn to a particularly bright unusual leaf and you focus your attention on this leaf. As it passes by you reach out and grab and decide you wish it for yourself. As a matter of fact you begin to see Similar leafs of the same color and now you collect many of them. And as you. Observe further there are even larger leaves that are more interesting and so on. This analogy represents the thought patterns that flow in and out of our human minds. There are many that go u noticed and there are some we give much of our attention. Here we recognize the leaves are the same and all are flowing down stream yet we have placed more importance on the larger ones and as we focus on the larger thoughts similar thoughts follow.

If you have a cell phone and do any searching on the internet you will notice that similar products pop up and before you know it you are inundated with products you are not interested in. Our minds work the same way. While on the phone if you switch interests and google another topic, this topic will emerge in your feed. Is there a difference with what happens on the internet and our own thoughts? A subtle thought will arise and after some attention you are consumed with all the thoughts that match or are similar to the original thought. Subsequently we are no longer slightly interested but are now consumed.

The fascinating thing is, is that we think these thoughts pertain to us, when in reality it started as a passing thought. Just as easily you can switch your interest to another thought and the previous thoughts will disappear and the matching thoughts that followed. If we utilized this amazing internet in our own minds, we could create that which is desired. Most of us have used the thought faculty by default, not realizing that we can with effort master the algorithm of mind. The main thing to remember is that these thoughts are not ours, they become ours when we claim them as such. And as we claim them we experience them and as we experience them we become them. The key here is to recognize when we are identifying with a particular cluster of thought and noticing how it makes you feel. For the energy of emotion creates the momentum to bring more of them to you.

If we were to acknowledge how we feel on a daily basis and go back towards the thoughts that are emerging in our minds we will see the source of our experience. An original thought that becomes a pattern is labeled a belief but it can be sourced back to its original thought.

Look at the computer /phone and see how it works and you will understand your very own mind.

Our minds are thought processors and this begs the question… who is claiming the thoughts because we are not the thoughts they come by their own volition. As we concern ourselves over AI, we must consider that perhaps the human body is designed as such. Recognizing the source that generates the thoughts and or the space that holds thought is the key to recognizing what we are.

Our thoughts define our experience. Understanding and mastering the mind is the key to freedom from suffering
